Burntwood Court Hotel, Barnsley

I had a mixed experience at the hotel; while the wedding coordination and attentiveness of the staff were fantastic, I encountered significant delays during our Sunday carvery visit that were disappointing. The facilities overall were great, but the service during busy times could use improvement. Value for money seemed reasonable, especially for weddings, but the dining experience during peak hours was less than ideal.

I recently had my wedding at Burntwood, and it was truly a magical experience! The reception area was stunning, and the quality of food was top-notch, which had many guests raving about it. However, I had a bit of a mixed experience because my family visit felt overpriced, especially given the state of the rooms and the service, which left a lot to be desired. Overall, it came down to a fantastic wedding day, but personal stays could be better.
